Pulling up near the Kings House Hotel in Glencoe and finding ourselves quietly sharing the landscape with a small herd of deer — completely unfazed, completely at home. ⠀ This is what I love about touring Scotland: the big drama of the mountains, paired with these gentle, unexpected encounters that stop everyone in their tracks for a moment. ⠀ No rush.
